We’re Hiring: Facility Manager

Location: Ashok Nagar, Chennai

Salary: Depends on interview performance

Department: Studio Administration


We are looking for a proactive Facility Manager to oversee studio operations, facilities, and infrastructure. You will manage day-to-day operations, ensure equipment and systems run smoothly, coordinate with vendors, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage studio operations and faculty/academic requirements.
  • Oversee vendor contracts, procurement, invoices, and expense management.
  • Plan, schedule, and track facility maintenance (UPS, AC, batteries, and other systems).
  • Monitor IT and studio equipment performance.
  • Maintain facility documentation, checklists, reports, and audit readiness.
  • Lead infrastructure planning and crisis management activities.


Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, UPS, battery, and building systems.
  • Proven vendor and contract management experience.
  • Proactive with a preventive approach to operations.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of compliance, SOPs, safety protocols, Opex/Capex, and budgeting.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in studio/facility operations or related industries.
