Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Factory Manager to oversee and manage all factory operations for our perfume manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in handling production lines, workers, quality standards, and day-to-day manufacturing activities within a perfume or cosmetic.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Management

• Oversee daily factory operations, ensuring smooth workflow across all production departments.
• Plan, organize, and monitor production schedules to meet deadlines and customer orders.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, raw materials, and inventory.
• Implement and enforce factory policies, procedures, and safety standards.

2. Workforce Management

• Supervise factory staff, including production workers, supervisors, and support teams.
• Ensure proper shift planning and manpower allocation.
• Train, motivate, and guide staff to improve productivity and discipline.
• Resolve worker-related issues and ensure a positive working environment.

3. Perfume Production & Quality Control

• Ensure strict adherence to fragrance formulations and production guidelines.
• Oversee batching, filling, bottling, labeling, and final packaging processes.
• Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure all products meet UAE regulatory and company standards.
• Identify and rectify production defects, delays, and challenges promptly.

4. Maintenance & Compliance

• Ensure all machinery, equipment, and factory areas are well maintained.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, EHS, and industry health & safety regulations.
• Handle coordination with suppliers, contractors, and external inspection authorities.

5. Reporting & Improvement

• Prepare regular reports on production efficiency, waste, output, and staffing.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production capacity and reduce costs.
• Participate in management meetings and provide operational insights.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Production, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience managing a factory, preferably in perfume, cosmetics, FMCG, or chemical manufacturing.
• Strong background in managing workforce and production lines.
• Excellent knowledge of factory safety standards and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operations simultaneously.
