FACTORY SUPERVISOR - JOINERY

We are looking for an experienced Joinery Factory Supervisor to oversee day-to-day production operations in our joinery/wood workshop and worksite. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in UAE joinery factories and be capable of managing manpower, production schedules, quality control, and site coordination.

UAE joinery factory experience is mandatory. Candidates without UAE experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily operations in the joinery factory.
• Plan, allocate and monitor work for carpenters, machinists, painters and helpers.
• Review drawings, cutting lists and material requirements for each project.
• Coordinate with the project/operations team to meet delivery and installation deadlines.
• Ensure production is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor material usage, minimize waste and control production costs.
• Check quality at each stage (cutting, assembling, finishing, packing) and ensure timely rectifications.
• Implement and maintain health & safety standards inside the factory.
• Prepare daily/weekly production reports and update management on progress and issues.
• Arrange overtime, shifts and manpower planning as per project load.
• Coordinate with procurement/store for timely availability of materials, hardware and finishes.
• Train, guide and discipline factory staff to improve productivity and workmanship.

Requirements

• Minimum [3/4] years of experience in a joinery factory in the UAE (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of joinery production, carpentry, furniture, doors, wardrobes, counters, wall cladding, etc.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and cutting lists.
• Experience in managing a team of carpenters and workers in a factory environment.
• Good understanding of machinery used in joinery (panel saw, edge banding, CNC, etc.).
• Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi/other languages are an advantage).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with HSE procedures inside factory/workshop.

Education:

• Diploma / ITI in Carpentry/Joinery/Interior Fit-out or related field (preferred).
