Job Title: Female Purchaser (with Logistics Management Skills)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Foreign Purchaser with strong logistics management abilities to manage international sourcing and procurement. This role requires expertise in negotiating with overseas suppliers, handling import documentation, and ensuring timely, cost-efficient, and compliant delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

International Purchasing:

  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable international suppliers.
  • Request and analyze quotations from foreign vendors; negotiate pricing, payment terms, and incoterms.
  • Prepare and process international purchase orders and contracts.
  • Monitor global market trends, currency fluctuations, and international sourcing opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, trade regulations, and import/export laws.

Logistics Coordination:

  • Coordinate international shipping and freight forwarding (sea, air, or land transport).
  • Liaise with customs brokers, freight agents, and relevant government agencies to ensure smooth clearance of imported goods.
  • Track shipments, manage lead times, and ensure timely delivery to warehouses or production facilities.
  • Oversee documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.

Vendor and Supply Chain Management:

  • Evaluate supplier performance and quality assurance through audits and reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (finance, production, sales, etc.) to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Maintain updated records of supplier databases, contracts, and documentation.

Team and Operational Leadership:

  • Lead or support logistics/purchasing staff as needed.
  • Recommend process improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in international purchasing and import logistics.
  • Strong understanding of incoterms, international trade laws, customs clearance, and shipping documentation.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages such as Arabic is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Supply Chain or International Trade (e.g., CIPS, CSCP, FIATA).
  • Experience working with suppliers in Asia, Europe, or the Middle East.
  • Familiarity with HS codes, trade agreements, and compliance frameworks.
