ZEISS Türkiye is currently seeking, highly motivated and experienced Field Service Specialist/Engineer to represent ZEISS Industrial Quality Solutions (IQS) team in Ankara. As Field Service Specialist you will be responsible for service on ZEISS metrology instruments.

ZEISS IQS providing years of experience with a wide range of metrology solutions such as coordinate machines, optic, multisensor systems and software. ZEISS IQS continues its path of success by offering products and services to create innovation in all around the world.

Your Role

The role of a Field Service Specialist will involve:

  • Providing the necessary services in regard to installation, preventive maintenance, upgrade, calibration, trouble-shooting in the customer premises
  • Analyzing the customer needs and technical problems in a fast and accurate way, offering necessary solutions, and ensuring the customer satisfaction at the highest level
  • Being key person for the trouble-shooting –
  • Visiting the customers in order to analyze and resolve the problems
  • Identifying the customers’ needs and sharing those with the relevant unit/s in the company
  • Providing on-site and / or remote support for devices with the fault notification/s
  • Dealing with the customer complaints and offering the best solution to the customer
  • Providing service reports to be delivered on time and in desired standards
  • Communicating effectively with all target groups companywide (sales, management, customers, customer support center etc.)
  • Build and maintaining long-term customer relationships and achieving maximum customer satisfaction and retention by ensuring that customer devices work as they should.



Your Experience

As a Field Service Specialist you will have:

  • University degree (electric – electronic engineering, mechatronic engineering or similar fields)
  • Minimum 1-3 year experience in a similar position in an international company
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Service minded way of working and good customer skills
  • Ability to think through difficult customer issues and generate satisfactory customer satisfaction results.
  • Willing to travel frequently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Good communication skills, able to converse readily in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • No military obligation for male candidates
  • Valid driving licence and active driving experience
