Accounting Responsibilities

Handle full-cycle accounting, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.

Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and UAE accounting standards.

Manage accounts payable, receivable, petty cash, and payroll. Oversee VAT filing and compliance as per UAE FTA guidelines.

Support external audits and coordinate with auditors and financial institutions.

Monitor inventory valuation and bullion transaction records for accuracy and control.

AML / Compliance Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain AML/CFT policies and procedures as per UAE Ministry of Economy guidelines for DNFBPs. Conduct customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), and risk assessments for bullion trading clients. Monitor transactions for suspicious patterns and prepare Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) via the goAML portal. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to gold and precious metals trading. Maintain proper KYC documentation and transaction records as required by the MOE and UAE Central Bank. Liaise with regulatory authorities during inspections or audits. Provide AML/CFT training and awareness sessions for employees. Stay updated on new AML/CFT regulations, sanctions, and industry compliance standards.
