Internal Firm Services (IFS) is the trusted foundation of PwC, delivering innovative managed services and operational capabilities that enable our clients' evolving needs. Managed Services is the delivery and execution business within PwC, providing operational solutions for clients across the Middle East.
How you'll contribute
As a Finance Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will manage day-to-day operations for engagement teams within the Finance Service Tower, delivering Finance Managed Services to clients, including execution of processes, accountability for service level performance, and continuous learning and improvement.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Manage day to day delivery for finance engagements, overseeing key customer deliverables.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions across end to end finance processes for engagements, including procure to pay, record to report, order to cash and general ledger functions.
- Demonstrate sound understanding of financial reporting processes, risk and controls.
- Complete quality reviews and audits to ensure delivery is in line with established policies, procedures, compliance standards, and customer expectations.
- Hold overall accountability for SLA/OLA compliance within the engagement team across finance processes.
- Apply analytical and financial modeling skills with holistic financial thinking and ability to interpret financial data.
- Manage your own workload as well as that of the engagement teams, including reporting on progress and issue escalations.
- Monitor performance of team members and provide appropriate coaching.
- Mentor and motivate engagement team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Collaborate to drive ideas/solutions with peers and managers to improve client and PwC efficiency.
- Implement and adapt to new or changing processes quickly.
- Proactively build relationships with all team members within PwC, including engagement with client teams and customers of our clients.
- Implement corrective actions to address deviations and continuously improve service delivery based on feedback.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives based on feedback and observations.
- Support execution of the finance managed services plans and programs to ensure improvement of team performance and achievement of objectives.
What you'll bring
- Qualified accountant with a minimum of 8+ years' experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- 3+ years of people management experience leading a team in a complex process environment and managing workflow to deliver client outcomes.
- Strong practical knowledge of accounting/ reporting systems and profit & loss, balance sheet.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting processes, with knowledge and experience managing risk and controls.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and insurance or reinsurance accounting experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of accounting for financial instruments.
- Excellent MS Office skills.
Designations & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business management, administration or equivalent.
- Master's degree in accounting, finance, business management, administration or equivalent from an accredited university is preferred.
- Certifications in relevant fields (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) would be advantageous.
- Experience in coaching and coordinating a team to ensure deadlines are adhered to.
- Experience in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of finance operations.
- Experience of working collaboratively to drive ideas/solutions with diverse teams to improve efficiencies.
- Strong leader who can communicate fluently in English and demonstrate an ability to drive personal and collective accountability from a diverse team.
- Self motivated and independent, and can demonstrate strong relationships with internal and external parties.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines; demonstrates strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrates commercial awareness in daily service provision within own area of responsibility.

- Travel Requirements: Flexibility to travel 100% of the time within KSA, including working away from the base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required.
