Job Title: Fire Fighting Technician

Job Summary: The Fire Fighting Technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire Fighting and fire detection systems in compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations. The role ensures the proper functioning of all fire alarm systems to safeguard life and property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, test, and maintain Fire Fighting systems, panels, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions and repair or replace defective components.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks as per schedule.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Civil Defense standards and company safety policies.
• Program and configure fire alarm panels and devices as required.
• Respond to emergency service calls promptly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with other technicians and project engineers to ensure proper system integration.
• Verify installation quality and ensure all wiring and connections meet safety requirements.
• Assist in system upgrades and modifications.

Skills:

• Minimum 1–5 years of experience in Fire Fighting system installation and maintenance.
• Good knowledge of addressable and conventional fire alarm systems (e.g., Honeywell, Notifier, Siemens, Edwards, etc.).
• Familiar with UAE Fire & Life Safety Code of Practice.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and system drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Working Conditions:

• Work is typically performed at project sites, buildings, or facilities.
• May require working at heights or in confined spaces.
• Flexible to work overtime, weekends, or emergency calls as needed.

Fire Alarm Supervisor / Project Engineer / Maintenance Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
