Job Description

  • Lead and manage the full life cycle of interior fit-out projects (commercial, retail, hospitality, residential, etc.).
  • Interpret design drawings, BOQs, and specifications to plan and execute works effectively.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, designers, and subcontractors throughout the project stages.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against them.
  • Ensure that material approvals, procurement, and site execution are aligned with project timelines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and ensure that all activities comply with quality standards, HSE regulations, and project specifications.
  • Resolve technical and contractual issues with consultants, suppliers, and the execution team.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure project documentation, such as RFIs, NCRs, variation orders, and handover documents, is properly managed.
  • Supervise subcontractors and site engineers to ensure efficient execution of fit-out works.
  • Maintain excellent client relations and ensure smooth project handover and defect rectification post-completion.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 15 years of experience in managing interior fit-out projects.
  • Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, MEP coordination, and finishing works.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and high-value interior fit-out projects.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera, MS Project) and construction software (AutoCAD, Revit, ERP, etc.).
  • In-depth understanding of local codes, safety regulations, and authority approvals.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP / PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
  • Experience in luxury or high-end fit-outs (e.g., hotels, boutiques, executive offices).
