Flexible Learning Support Teacher for After School Program - part time

All Week Days: Multiple Shifts from 8am-6:30pm

Learning Care Academy Livermore offers After School Care and enrichment programs for Livermore Schools. We are looking for part-time educators to train and enrich kids from TK, KG, elementary and middle schools. We are seeking dedicated, enthusiastic and caring individuals who are flexible, responsible, and can work with children. We provide all material for teaching, just need someone who can teach in person.

A degree in education is preferred, but related experience is acceptable.

Requirements :

• Can provide a high-quality learning environment and manage activities that extend the school day
• Assist with homework completion
• Assist in the implementation of classroom curriculum and weekly lesson plans
• Ensure the safety and security of children enrolled
• Follow the designated schedule and curriculum, maintain a routine for students
• Ability to command respect and cooperation of an classroom
• Confidence to run a classroom alone
• Ability to assess and solve problems associated with children
• Ability to create and maintain a fun, caring, and responsive educational environment
• Ability to Drive and pickup kids from schools is desirable but not must
