We’re Hiring – Full-Time Game Designer at Metas Research Studio

Location : Alexandria-egypt.

At Metas Research Studio, we build interactive experiences, gamified solutions, and immersive digital products across multiple industries. Our team blends creativity and technology to bring ideas to life, and we’re now looking for a talented Game Designer to join us full time.

What will you do?

• Develop engaging game concepts, mechanics, and user journeys.
• Work closely with developers, artists, and project managers to turn ideas into playable experiences.
• Create clear design documents, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Balance gameplay, refine difficulty curves, and ensure smooth overall flow.
• Support the team with creative direction and contribute to brainstorming sessions.

What are we looking for?

• Strong understanding of game design fundamentals (mechanics, pacing, systems, UI/UX).
• Ability to translate ideas into structured, executable documentation.
• Familiarity with either Unity, Unreal, or similar game engines.
• A creative mindset with good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work full time from our studio and collaborate effectively with the team.

What will make you stand out?

• Experience in gamification or serious games.
• Strong visual storytelling or prototyping skills.
• Knowledge of player psychology and motivation systems.
• Previous experience designing mobile, VR, or AR.
• Any published work or game jam projects.
