Job Summary:
Responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing wooden furniture and joinery components, ensuring precision, quality, and adherence to design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Cut, shape, and assemble wood, MDF, veneer, and other materials for furniture production.
• Operate woodworking machines, hand tools, and power tools for cutting, drilling, sanding, and assembling.
• Install hardware, fittings, and joinery components as per specifications.
• Inspect completed furniture for quality, durability, and finish.
• Perform edge banding, doweling, and laminating as required.
• Repair or modify furniture as per project requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in good condition.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and workplace guidelines.
• Collaborate with production teams to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a furniture carpenter.
• Ability to read and understand joinery drawings and furniture designs.
• Skilled in using carpentry tools, saws, routers, drills, and measuring equipment.
• Strong knowledge of different wood types, laminates, and adhesives.
• Attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship.
• Physical ability to lift and assemble heavy furniture pieces.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
