Game Day Coordinator

The Sanford Spinners Baseball Club is looking for an energetic, outgoing, and passionate individual to serve as our Game Day Coordinator and On-Field Personality for the summer season. This individual will be the face of our game day experience, engaging fans, executing promotions, and ensuring an exciting atmosphere at every home game. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and love baseball, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Game Day Hosting & Fan Engagement: Serve as the main stadium host, hyping up the crowd, leading in-game entertainment, and keeping fans engaged throughout the game.
• On-Field Promotions: Own the inning-break timeline and coordinate with Ops/PA for cues. Execute and coordinate all in-game promotions, contests, and activities, ensuring smooth transitions between innings.
• Pre-Game & Post-Game Entertainment: Create, organize, and host pre-game festivities and post-game interactions with fans and players. Arrive 90 minutes before gates / stay through postgame duties.
• Coordination with Production Team: Create and execute promotions, scripts, and fan interactions flawlessly.
• Social Media & Content Support: Contribute to social media content by creating engaging videos, interviews, and fan interactions. Coordinate with Content Creator to ensure promos and sponsor moments are captured. Comfort on camera for short social clips is a plus.
• Crowd Engagement & Energy Management: Keep energy levels high throughout the stadium by engaging fans, leading chants, and ensuring a lively atmosphere.
• Sponsor Relations: Interact with sponsors. and VIP guests in a professional and engaging manner.

Required Qualifications:

• Outgoing, energetic, and confident personality with the ability to entertain large crowds.
• Strong public speaking and microphone skills.
• Ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly to changing game situations.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple promotions and engagements.
• Ability to commit to the full Sanford Spinners summer schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic and hustle mentality.
• Experience in entertainment, event planning, sports marketing, broadcasting, or related fields is a plus.
• Passion for baseball and sports entertainment.
• Ability to move quickly, stand for long periods, and perform high-energy activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an in-game host, event emcee, or promotions team member.
• Familiarity with game day operations in a baseball or sports environment.
• Basic knowledge of music and sound operations is a plus.
• Experience with social media engagement and content creation.
