Games Arcade Technician

Role summary

we are looking for a Games Arcade Technician who is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing arcade games and amusement machines and Bowling machine to ensure they are safe, fully operational, and delivering a great guest experience in the arcade. The role involves both technical troubleshooting and basic customer support when machines are not working correctly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily checks, preventive maintenance, and repairs on arcade video games, redemption games, simulators, and related equipment.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and basic electronic faults in machines, including coin mechanisms, ticket dispensers, and game controls.
• Install new machines, update game software/settings, and ensure correct calibration and configuration.
• Maintain tools, spare parts, and maintenance logs, ensuring proper documentation of all work carried out
• Respond quickly to breakdowns during operating hours to minimize machine downtime.fun
• Ensure all machines and work practices comply with safety and company standards within the arcade.
• Support the operations team by explaining basic machine use or simple troubleshooting steps when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years UAE experience as an Arcade/Games Technician or similar technical role is required
• Diploma or technical certification in electronics, electrical, mechanical, or related field preferred
• Good knowledge of basic electronics, wiring, and use of testing tools (multimeter, hand tools, etc.)
• Ability to read basic technical diagrams/manuals and follow safety procedures.
• Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet, lifting equipment, and accessing tight spaces when needed.
• Basic English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage for dealing with guests and team members in the UAE.
