Job Title: General Accountant – Contracting Experience (UAE)

Location: Al Mina Road, Dubai

Experience Required: 3–4 Years in Contracting Industry (UAE)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of hands-on experience in the contracting/construction industry within the region. You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the finance team with budgeting, reporting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full cycle accounting including Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable, GL entries, reconciliations, and payroll
• Maintain accurate records of all project-related financial transactions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor and manage cash flow and bank transactions
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and other financial regulations
• Support internal and external audit requirements
• Liaise with project managers, suppliers, and clients for financial matters

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3–4 years of UAE experience in the contracting/construction industry
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and project cost control
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, or ERP systems)
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Can join Immediately and must be staying in Dubai Only
• Preferably cancelled Visa

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
