General Manager

WAVE MEDIA is a dynamic creative digital agency and content production house dedicated to pushing boundaries in storytelling and digital innovation. Based in Sharjah, WAVE MEDIA delivers high-impact visual content across multiple platforms while fostering a collaborative and fast-growing work environment. We are now seeking a strategic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive operational excellence.

Role Description; General Manage

This is a senior, full-time, on-site leadership role based in Sharjah. As the General Manager at WAVEMEDIA, you will oversee daily operations, ensure smooth project execution, manage cross-department coordination, and lead the team toward achieving company goals. You will be responsible for strategic planning, business development, client relationship management, and ensuring the highest standards across all creative, production, and operational functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage a multidisciplinary team (creative, production, operations, and admin)
• Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient workflow across all departments
• Develop and implement strategic plans to support company growth and performance
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
• Monitor ongoing projects to ensure quality, deadlines, and client satisfaction
• Improve internal processes and ensure the company meets industry standards
• Manage budgets, financial planning, and operational reporting
• Support business development efforts and identify new growth opportunities
• Represent the company professionally in meetings, events, and industry engagements

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in the media, production, or creative industry
• Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage and inspire a team
• Solid understanding of media production workflows (video, photo, design, editing)
• Strong business acumen, organizational skills, and decision-making abilities
• Experience in client communication, project management, and operational supervision
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Prior experience in agency, media house, or production company is strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Media, Communications, or related field (Master’s is a plus)

Salary Range: between AED 8,000 to 10,000
