A well reputed OEM is seeking an experienced General Manager – Commercial to lead its in-house Tool Room Operations in Bangalore. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in plastic mold manufacturing, mold assembly, new mold development, cost estimation, and commercial planning for automotive parts. This role will oversee complete in-house tooling operations with zero vendor dependency, ensuring high-quality mold production, adherence to timelines, and cost control. The candidate will manage commercial forecasting, budgeting, investment planning, and resource optimization to support new product development. Close coordination with design, production, and quality teams is crucial. Stability in previous roles is a key requirement. The position demands strong leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement within the tool room.
