Job Description

A GP Facilitator coordinates and supports general practice (GP) operations, ensuring smooth communication between medical practitioners, patients, and administrative teams. They streamline workflows, organize training, and lead problem-solving sessions. Their role enhances care quality, boosts efficiency, and fosters collaborative and patient-centred primary healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize regular GP-team meetings for process improvement.
  • Facilitate training sessions to update clinical staff knowledge.
  • Coordinate patient-feedback loops between doctors and management.
  • Monitor clinic workflows and suggest operational optimisations.
  • Resolve conflicts between GPs, staff, and administrative personnel.
  • Support implementation of new policies and practice standards.
  • Track key performance indicators and drive quality improvement.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders to benchmark best practices..
