Job Title: Grade 1 Homeroom Teacher

Job Summary: The Grade 1 Homeroom Teacher is responsible for delivering age-appropriate instruction to students in a positive and supportive classroom environment. The teacher will foster a love of learning, develop foundational academic skills, and support the personal growth of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruction:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in subjects including reading, writing.
• Implement differentiated teaching strategies to meet the varied learning needs of all students.
• Use educational tools and resources effectively to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Monitor and assess student progress through formal and informal assessments.
• Classroom Management:
• Establish and maintain a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment.
• Foster good behavior, respect, and cooperation among students.
• Implement classroom rules and procedures consistently and fairly.
• Handle conflicts or disruptions calmly and professionally.
• Student Support:
• Recognize individual learning needs and offer additional support where necessary.
• Encourage social and emotional development through guided activities.
• Create an inclusive environment where all students feel valued and supported.
• Work closely with parents to keep them informed of their child’s progress, concerns, and achievements.
• Collaboration and Professional Development:
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to align on teaching goals and school-wide initiatives.
• Continuously evaluate and adjust teaching methods based on student needs, feedback, and educational best practices.
• Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on student performance, attendance, and behavior.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, grades, and other necessary documentation as required by the school administration.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching practices for young learners.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Passion for teaching and working with young children.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching in an elementary school setting.
• Familiarity with diverse learning needs and inclusive teaching strategies.
• Knowledge of educational technology and tools for classroom management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to AED2,500.00 per month
