JOB OVERVIEW
Role Summary
The Graphic Designer plays a key role in bringing the Ultimate Resort Vacations (URV) brand portfolio to life through creative, consistent, and high-quality design. This position supports all marketing and communications initiatives across URV-managed properties and entities, including hotels and restaurants.
The ideal candidate is a versatile designer with a strong eye for detail, able to balance creativity and efficiency while delivering visually compelling materials across both print and digital channels. This person collaborates closely with the Creative Director, Marketing Managers, Coordinators, and agency partners to ensure all visuals align with brand identity, support business goals, and elevate the guest experience.
While the focus will remain on the hotel portfolio, the position may also provide guidance, templates, and light creative support for other entities under WHML’s umbrella such as Blue Haven Marina and Anchorage Restaurant.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Design & Collateral Production
- Design and update marketing collateral including menus, flyers, posters, signage, ads, sales brochures, internal materials, and check inserts for all URV entities, providing templates for in-house editing.
- Support digital design needs including website banners, newsletter layouts, paid ad creatives, and content for IPTV, lobby screens, and digital signage.
- Prepare and format magazine ads, press visuals, and promotional materials for campaigns, events, and partnerships.
- Design and update presentation, video, and brochure templates for Sales and Marketing teams, ensuring ease of use and brand consistency.
- Support menu template design and collaborate with property teams for updates.
- Design and produce signage related to renovations, including construction barriers, temporary directional signs, and brand messaging boards.
- Create and oversee production of vinyls, decals, and window graphics as part of on-site marketing and branding initiatives.
Branding & Visual Identity
- Uphold and evolve brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in tone, color, typography, and layout across all visual assets.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director on the development of new logos, sub-brands, and visual identities for restaurants, hotels, and other URV initiatives.
- Support on-property and corporate teams by providing design toolkits and branded templates for consistent visual execution.
- Photo and video editing as needed.
Campaign, Advertising & Digital Support
- Create visuals for marketing campaigns including digital banners, email graphics, social ad sets, and landing page layouts.
- Collaborate with Marketing Managers and Coordinators to produce assets for promotions, events, and brand partnerships.
- Support video and motion design needs, including short-form content and IPTV creative updates.
- Partner with Roar Media and Adchieve to align creative assets with overall marketing strategies for paid and organic campaigns.
- Adapt designs for multiple platforms while maintaining clarity, proportion, and quality.
- Prepare production-ready files and coordinate with printers, publishers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and accurate color output.
- Manage multiple design requests simultaneously, prioritizing based on deadlines, scope, and overall impact — in close coordination with the Creative Director and Marketing Manager, and by efficiently tracking all submitted requests through SmartForms.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in hospitality, lifestyle, or luxury brands.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Familiarity with Canva for template creation and internal use.
- Strong understanding of print production, typography, and layout.
- Experience designing for digital platforms, including IPTV, social media, newsletters, and paid advertising.
- Strong organization and project management skills; able to meet multiple deadlines with accuracy and consistency.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of brand cohesion and storytelling through design.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
