Graphic Designer - Signage & Printing

Horizon Tech is seeking a production-savvy Graphic Designer to create client-ready concepts and production-ready files for signage and large-format graphics. This is a full-time role aligned to U.S. business hours, collaborating with sales/PMs, and production to turn briefs/site specs into accurate proofs, mockups, and files that run smoothly on printer/CNC. Deliverables include AI, PDF/X1a, EPS, TIFF, SVG/DXF. This draft can be tailored to your equipment and workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design/layout for storefront/interior/exterior signs, window/wall graphics, banners, trade show displays, vehicle graphics, and basic wayfinding.
• Prepare productionready files: correct scale, bleeds, paneling/tiling, grommet/hem marks, dielines/cut paths, spot white/varnish layers, routing vectors.
• Create clear proofs/mockups with dimensions, materials, and hardware notes; manage revisions quickly and maintain version control.
• Preflight artwork (fonts/links, resolution at size, color modes, overprint/knockout) and export to shop standards (e.g., PDF/X1a, AI, EPS, TIFF, SVG/DXF).
• Coordinate with production for vinyl, printcut, router/laser workflows; ensure files run with minimal rework.
• Maintain organized folders, naming conventions, and deadlines across multiple concurrent jobs.

Qualifications:

• 2-4+ years in a sign/print/large-format environment.
• Expert Adobe Illustrator; strong Photoshop; working knowledge of InDesign (CorelDRAW a plus).
• Solid signage prepress fundamentals: scale, paneling, DPI at size, vector vs raster, spot vs process, vinyl cut vs printcut.
• Experience preparing files for banners, window/wall graphics, dimensional letters, channel letters/cabinets, and wayfinding.
• Familiarity with RIP/workflow tools (Onyx/Caldera/Flexi/Fiery); basic CNC/router prep preferred.
• Strong typography/layout, attention to detail, communication, and time management; reliable remote setup and internet.
• Portfolio with relevant signage/large-format samples.

• Job Timings: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST.
• Office location: Shaheed-E-Millat Road, off to Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi.

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
