Group Home Manager DDA

Step by Step In Home Care is seeking an experienced Group Home Area Supervisor to oversee multiple Maryland DDA-licensed group homes. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who ensures homes remain compliant with DDA and COMAR regulations while supporting staff and promoting the dignity, independence, and quality of life of the people we serve.

Responsibilities

Must be able to work 2- 11 PM & Overnights!!

Must be able to work weekends!

• Oversee daily operations of assigned group homes in compliance with Maryland DDA and COMAR.
• Works closely with the administration team.
• Supervise and support
• Direct & Personal Support Professionals , along with administration team.
• Conduct site visits, monitor safety, and ensure high-quality care.
• Ensure implementation of Individual Plans (IPs), Behavior Plans, and Health Care Plans.
• Assist Directors assistant with staff scheduling, training, and evaluations.
• Handle compliance documentation, audits, and incident reports with the administration team.
• Must be on call for any call outs if theres no support staff available. 7-3 , 3-11 , & overnight.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience
• developmental disabilities services.
• At least 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Maryland DDA and COMAR regulations.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background checks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
