Mission Objectives ? The Requirements Analyst supports the Department of Treasury, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and bureau stakeholders across mission, cybersecurity, and modernization initiatives. By securing clear, traceable requirements, it reduces delivery risk, speeds validation, and drives compliant, auditable solutions..

[Position Responsibility Summary]

  • Plan and facilitate elicitation & validation sessions with stakeholders: interviews, workshops, observation, surveys, prototyping, and document analysis.
  • Model as is and to be processes.
  • Develop use cases, user stories, epics, and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Produce measurable, testable requirements per IEEE 29148 and BABOK guidance.
  • Capture nonfunctional requirements: security, performance, scalability, availability, and supportability.
  • Specify compliance requirements, including Section 508, FISMA, NIST SP 800 53, and RMF.
  • Build and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices to ensure end to end traceability.
  • Tailor requirements for SOWs, PWSs, and Technical Requirements Documents.
  • Define evaluation criteria and performance standards for acquisitions.
  • Coordinate with procurement to meet FAR and agency standards.
  • Baseline requirements and manage changes through formal CCB processes.
  • Support verification and validation through test planning and reviews.
  • Participate in vendor evaluations against documented requirements.
  • Maintain requirements in agile/alm work-tracking platforms, enterprise requirements management systems ,PPM, CI/CD or testing tools.
  • Create specifications, data models, interface maps, and Visio diagrams.
  • Produce Section 508 compliant artifacts, templates, and job aids.
  • Prepare concise briefings, decision papers, and executive summaries.
  • Conduct background research, market analysis, and cost estimation support.
  • Track and report risks, issues, and assumptions affecting scope and quality.
  • Align requirements with PPM schedules, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, defect triage, and acceptance reporting.
  • Maintain SOPs, KBAs, and repositories in SharePoint with metadata governance.
