Position Title: Head of Engineering – Solar Energy

Location: Korangi, Karachi

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, including electrical, mechanical, and civil engineers.
• System Design & Optimization: Oversee the conceptual and detailed engineering of utility-scale and commercial solar PV systems, including energy storage integration.
• Project Management: Develop engineering plans, allocate resources, and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
• Energy Modeling & Simulation: Conduct yield assessments and performance modeling using PVsyst, Helioscope, ETAP, and other relevant tools.
• Grid Integration & Energy Storage: Implement grid-tied and off-grid solar systems, ensuring compliance with local grid codes and interconnection protocols.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure that all engineering designs adhere to IEC, IEEE, NEC, and applicable safety regulations.
• Innovation & Technology Integration: Stay informed about emerging technologies in renewable energy, including advancements in AI-driven energy management and hybrid solar-wind systems.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in solar energy engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of solar system design, grid integration, SCADA, IoT-based monitoring, and energy storage solutions.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple large-scale solar projects efficiently.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Pay: Rs250,000.00 - Rs300,000.00 per month
