Our client is a well-established Financial Services organisation in Jeddah.

Job Description

The Head of IT Solutions and Quality will be responsible for:

• Lead the IT Solutions and Quality department
• Contribute to the growth of the organisation through Technology
• Managing budgets for the IT Solutions and Quality department
• Translating business needs into system requirements and developing / delivering / implementing solutions successfully
• Reviewing upgrade plans to ensure alignment with current and future business goals
• Ensuring solution delivery is on time and within budget
• Overseeing vendor activities during system implementation and delivery
• Leading negotiations for software licenses, services and maintenance contracts
• Leading and developing department staff through training, performance tracking and mentorship
• Coordinating with other department heads to keep change initiatives on track and within scope
• Ensuring compliance with SDLC best practices across development teams
• Systems Quality Assurance and UAT
• Maximise system availability and performance through proactive management
• Overseeing end-to-end system upgrades, product setups and production readiness

The Successful Applicant

The Head of IT Solutions and Quality will be / have :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields of study
• 8+ years of experience in solutions development and quality assurance within the Banking / Financial Services sector
• Excellent leadership skills; previously led solutions development teams
• Strong project management skills
• Knowledge of crisis management and disaster recovery
• Ability to work cross-functionally, and interact with various technical / non-technical stakeholders
• Based in / willing to relocate to Jeddah
• A Saudi national (strongly preferred)
