We are seeking a Head of Infrastructure Asset Management as part of our DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH Branch Office. The job opening is located in the Middle East and offers exciting challenges and potential for career growth
Responsibilities:
- Control the Contractors’ asset management activities related to infrastructure
- Development and execution of knowledge transfer for all asset management related disciplines
- Overseeing the rail system's physical infrastructure, including tracks, bridges, tunnels, and related components. They are responsible for maintenance, upgrades, and expansions to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Develop and execute infrastructure maintenance and improvement programs.
- Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to assess and repair track conditions.
- Plan and supervise infrastructure expansion and upgrade projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards for all infrastructure projects.
- Monitor the structural integrity of bridges, tunnels, and other infrastructure elements.
- Collaborate with environmental and sustainability teams for eco-friendly infrastructure solutions.
- Prepare budgets, timelines, and progress reports for infrastructure projects.
- Provide technical expertise during the planning and execution of infrastructure initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Project management skills
- Industrial asset management background (preferably in the railway business)
- Min. academic degree: B.Sc. Engineering
- Min. 10 years in in rail industry
- Min. 5 years in leadership position
- Min. 10 years in a similar position
- International experience, preference GCC
