Your Role

Based in Adelaide, SA, as the Head of Safety, you live and breathe WHS and, for you, it's more than a necessary legislation piece; it's your lifeblood. You are likely a WHS Lead or Head of HSE who has achieved award worthy results in your current role, and ready for your next challenge. • Leading the HSE and risk management for the organisation ensuring an unmatched safety culture across all operations
• Uphold 100% compliance and embedding national HSE strategy, driving continuous improvement, safety performance and protecting people and assets
• Recruit, train and develop conscious, safety oriented leaders
• Solidifying the organisation's national mark on Zero Harm strategies and safety excellence, all while enabling sustainable growth in maintaining commitment to the wellbeing of the people

About you

• You're a HSE industry shaker, leading world class systems and innovation
• You may currently work in Road Freight, Construction, Warehousing or Oil/Gas/Mining environments as the Lead HSE or Director of Safety
• You challenge the status quo and bring bold, innovative thinking to enterprise environments
• You are an incredible people person and relate warmly at every rank you liaise with ensuring that absolutely nobody in the business is afraid to approach you
• You demonstrate clear achievements in HSE / WHS legislation, governance, compliance and take daily steps to achieve results
• You are proficient in the use, development and implementation of appropriate software and systems, monitoring real time data
• Willing to relocate to Adelaide, SA

Other Details

The position is based in South Australia, has a seat on the executive leadership team. Remuneration is highly competitive and commensurate with skill set, relocation (if required) and your proven ability to strategically drive HSE innovation and long term safety performance.
