We are a leading travel and tourism company dedicated to delivering exceptional travel experiences to clients worldwide. Our services encompass corporate travel, leisure tours, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), and luxury vacation packages. We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven, and strategic sales leader to head our sales department and drive our growth in the competitive travel and tourism market.

Job Purpose:

The Head of Sales & Department will be responsible for formulating and executing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and expanding the company’s customer base. This leadership role ensures that the company achieves its revenue targets, builds strong relationships with clients, and maintains a competitive edge in the travel and tourism sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop comprehensive sales strategies to achieve short-term and long-term revenue goals.
  • Identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team and monitor progress regularly.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align sales strategy with overall business objectives.

2. Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales staff to enhance capabilities and performance.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive work culture emphasizing accountability, collaboration, and excellence.

3. Business Development & Client Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators, and key partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to acquire new clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, close high-value deals, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions.

4. Revenue Growth & Forecasting

  • Monitor sales performance and provide accurate reports to senior management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and growth opportunities.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and plans to guide strategic decisions.

5. Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with marketing, operations, finance, and product teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Collaborate on promotional campaigns, tour packages, and special offers to boost sales.
  • Provide feedback to product teams on customer preferences and market demands.

6. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

  • Ensure effective use of CRM tools by the sales team to manage client interactions and follow-ups.
  • Personally handle key accounts to maintain strong relationships and loyalty.
  • Develop strategies to improve customer retention and lifetime value.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5–10 years in sales within the travel and tourism industry, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of travel products: tours, flights, hotels, cruises, MICE.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data and trends.
  • Knowledge of CRM and sales management software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
