Job Description

Supervising all operational processes of the unit to achieve the department’s goals and contributing to improving and developing performance according to best practices, in line with approved administrative policies and regulations, and in consideration of relevant requirements and evolving work needs.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the unit’s resources (financial and human) efficiently and effectively to achieve the department’s goals.
• Develop the unit’s operational and procedural manuals, including comprehensive analytics for operational performance.
• Ensure full compliance with approved operational work procedures.
• Prepare operational work plans and monitor the implementation of annual operational plans.
• Monitor unit performance and ensure implementation of performance indicators as per approved frameworks.
• Review and approve unit’s competencies and tasks according to approved job descriptions.
• Provide training and ongoing support to employees to help them achieve their goals.
• Develop technical and operational skills to keep pace with national priorities.
  
  

Technical Responsibilities

• Prepare and support operational plans and development plans specific to the unit.
• Ensure the preparation and delivery of technical and procedural reports.
• Evaluate technical needs for required tools, equipment, and related units.
• Supervise task implementation within production and ensure adherence to publishing policies and intellectual property regulations.
