Health Law Practice Group Associate or Special Counsel (PBM)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts with PBMs and related service providers
• Support PBM procurement lifecycle, including vendor selection and contract execution
• Advise clients on managed care operations, pharmaceutical supply chain contracts, and disputes
• Travel occasionally for in-person negotiations with client stakeholders
• Coordinate with Mintz attorneys across practices on cross-functional legal issues
• Counsel clients on regulatory compliance under federal/state health laws
• Manage multiple contract workflows, reviews, and timelines with minimal supervision

Job Requirements:

• JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admission (or eligibility) in MA, NY, or DC
• At least 3 years of commercial/transactional experience in managed care or PBM industries
• Experience with PBM vendor contracting: rebate agreements, pharmacy networks, etc.
• Strong understanding of health law regulatory frameworks (state/federal)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
• In-house PBM industry experience
• Experience handling PBM contract disputes
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical supply chain entities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $200,000.00 - $345,000.00 per year
