We are seeking an experienced
Health & Safety Senior Engineer
to strengthen our safety culture, ensure effective field implementation, and support operational excellence across all departments.
Key Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance on routine and non-routine workplace activities.

Lead workplace risk assessments and follow-up of control measures.

Plan and conduct periodic inspections, track nonconformities and corrective actions.

Oversee maintenance, inspection, and measurement activities.

Support H&S trainings and prepare the annual H&S work plan with the workplace physician.

Participate in H&S Committee activities.

Develop processes to reduce exposure to occupational hazards.
-
Prepare and update H&S procedures and documentation.
-
Monitor departmental KPIs and report to the H&S Chief.

Review emergency response plans and participate in drills.
-
Conduct PPE analysis and evaluation matrices.

Support accident investigations, identify root causes, and ensure system documentation.

Coordinate updates to the Electronic Work Permit System.

Fulfil duties defined under Article 9 of the relevant H&S Regulation.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Minimum 6 years, preferably 8 years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety.

Minimum Intermediate level English is a must. (Speaking, Writing)

Mining industry experience is highly preferred.

Strong command of H&S legislation, risk analysis and root cause analysis methods.

Preferably familiar with ATEX/SEVESO and MOC processes.

Strong field experience, analytical ability, communication, leadership, and reporting skills.

Proficiency in MS Office; ability to drive manual & automatic vehicles.
Education & Certifications
-
Class A or B Occupational Safety Specialist Certificate approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

Class B Driver’s License.

ISO 45001, ISO 9001, NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA (preferred).
