Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Manage various trucks including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, to transport materials across the site.
• Handle specialized equipment like concrete mixers and farm machinery to support diverse construction activities.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
• Assist with site preparation by moving earth & grading surfaces.
• Collaborate with team members to execute project plans accurately while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and report any equipment malfunctions or hazards immediately.

Skills

• Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and similar machinery.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
• Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety procedures and site protocols.
• Knowledge of construction materials and processes related to concrete mixing, earthmoving, and site development.
• Ability to operate specialized machinery like Caterpillar equipment or other major brands confidently.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring smooth workflow. Pay: $24.58 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
