Helper

Position Overview

The Helper (Skilled / Unskilled) supports daily site operations within the piling and shoring works. The role involves assisting engineers, foremen, and machine operators in carrying out tasks related to piling, shoring, excavation, and general enabling works. The worker shall follow all safety procedures and site instructions as per UAE construction standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the site for piling and shoring activities.
• Support the installation of H-beams, sheet piles, secant piles, and related materials.
• Help in handling, loading, and unloading of steel, equipment, and construction materials.
• Assist machine operators (drilling rigs, excavators, cranes) as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and order around the drilling area, excavation zones, and work platforms.
• Help with mixing, placing, and managing concrete and grout materials when required.
• Support the team during guide wall preparation, steel cage assembly, and beam alignment.
• Follow the instructions of the Site Engineer and Foreman at all times.
• Assist with anchoring works, dewatering support tasks, and installation of shoring accessories when needed.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained, cleaned, and stored properly.
