Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic High School History Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. The ideal candidate will be capable of teaching a wide range of history and social science courses—including US History, AP World History, AP US History, and AP Government. This role is perfect for an educator who thrives in a small school setting and is enthusiastic about getting involved in student life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach multiple history and social science courses at the high school level
• Prepare and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Provide personalized attention to students in small class settings
• Assess student progress through regular feedback, grading, and communication
• Serve as the ASB (Associated Student Body) Advisor and support student government initiatives
• Help organize and supervise extracurricular clubs and school activities
• Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and parent-teacher conferences
• Maintain a positive and professional classroom environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in History, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Valid teaching credential or equivalent teaching experience
• Experience teaching Advanced Placement (AP) courses preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability and willingness to support student activities beyond classroom instruction
• A passion for history and commitment to student development

Schedule & Compensation:
This is a part-time teaching position. The compensation is a set rate of $1500 per month per course.

Pay: $4,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month
