Job Title: Highway Engineer

Department: Engineering / Construction

Job Purpose:

To plan, design, and supervise the construction and maintenance of highway and road infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and implement detailed designs, drawings, and specifications for highways, roads, and drainage systems.
• Monitor and supervise daily construction activities to ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and technical standards.
• Coordinate with survey, structural, geotechnical, and material testing teams for alignment, levels, and design parameters.
• Ensure compliance with MoRTH/IRC standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.
• Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and progress reports.
• Conduct inspections, identify design or site issues, and provide technical solutions.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for technical approvals and issue resolution.
• Ensure implementation of safety measures and environmental management plans on site.
• Support in project documentation, measurement verification, and preparation of as-built drawings.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) from a recognized university.
• Master’s Degree in Transportation / Highway Engineering (preferred).
• 2–8 years of experience in highway/road construction projects.
• Hands-on experience with highway alignment, pavement design, and construction supervision.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (MoRTH, IRC, ASTM, AASHTO).

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
