Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Hindi Teacher to teach Hindi language and literature to students across assigned grades. The ideal candidate should be strong in grammar, literature, and communication, with a passion for teaching and nurturing students.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Classroom Delivery

• Teach Hindi language, grammar, literature, and writing skills as per curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and creative teaching materials.
• Make learning interactive through stories, poetry, activities, and conversations.
• Focus on building reading, writing, and speaking proficiency in Hindi.

2. Assessment & Evaluation

• Conduct periodic assessments, class tests, and exams.
• Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve.

3. Student Development

• Encourage participation in debates, speech competitions, poetry recitations, and cultural events.
• Help students improve vocabulary, pronunciation, and confidence in Hindi.
• Identify learning gaps and provide extra support where needed.

4. Administrative & School Responsibilities

• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent–teacher meetings.
• Coordinate school events related to Hindi Diwas, cultural programs, and language activities.
• Maintain discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hindi / Literature (B.A./M.A. Hindi).
• B.Ed preferred for school-level teaching.
• Strong command of Hindi grammar and literature.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Creative teaching methods to engage students.
• Ability to use digital teaching tools (smart boards, PPTs, LMS).
• Patience, empathy, and student-focused attitude.
• Strong pronunciation and fluency in spoken Hindi.
