Hiring: Dedicated 24-Hour Live-In Home Nurse (Tracheostomy & Complex Care)

We are seeking a compassionate, highly skilled, and dedicated Home Nurse to provide comprehensive, round-the-clock care for a patient requiring specialized attention in a home setting. This is a live-in position offering basic accommodation and meals.

Key Details

Position: 24-Hour Live-In Home Nurse

Location: Kumarswamy Layout, Bangalore, Karnataka

Schedule: Full-time, 24-hour presence (with scheduled rest breaks/sleep time)

Compensation: 25000 INR to 35000 INR monthly

Perks: Basic on-site accommodation and 3 times daily meals provided.

Candidate Requirements (Mandatory)

The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualification:

B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing / General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)

Language: Must be proficient in Hindi for effective communication with the patient and family.

Experience: Proven experience in complex home care settings, particularly with patients requiring respiratory support is highly preferred.

Core Responsibilities and Skills

The primary duties require expertise in the following areas of specialized care:

Respiratory Care:

• Tracheostomy Care: Meticulous maintenance, cleaning, and complication monitoring of the tracheostomy site.
• Suctioning: Performing oral, and tracheal suctioning as needed to maintain a clear airway.
• Nebulization:** Administering prescribed respiratory medications via nebulizer.
• Chest Physiotherapy/Massage: Performing chest massage and percussion techniques to aid in secretion clearance.

Nutritional Support:

• Ryle's Tube (RT) Feeding: Preparation and administration of formula via nasogastric tube (NG tube), and meticulous tube care.
• Meal Provision: Assistance with meals provided by the family/household.

Mobility & Positioning:

• Patient Positioning: Regular turning and positioning of the patient to prevent bedsores (pressure ulcers) and improve comfort.
• Passive Movements: Performing prescribed passive range-of-motion (PROM) exercises two times a day.

Medical & General Care:

• Medication Administration: Accurate and timely administration of oral and prescribed injectable/tube medications.
• Catheter Care: Maintaining hygiene and monitoring of urinary/other catheters to prevent infection.
• Vitals Monitoring: Regularly monitoring and accurately recording vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, SpO2​).
• Documentation: Maintaining comprehensive and accurate nursing records and reporting any changes in the patient's condition immediately.
• Personal Hygiene: Assisting with bathing, grooming, and general personal hygiene.
