Key Responsibilities1. Prescription Review & Dispensing
- Review and interpret physician prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Dispense medications with proper labeling and dosage instructions.
- Ensure compliance with drug safety protocols and legal requirements.
2. Patient Counseling
- Provide clear instructions regarding medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.
- Address patient queries and ensure adherence to prescribed therapy.
3. Medication Management
- Monitor drug availability and maintain inventory levels.
- Check for expired, damaged, or recalled medications and take appropriate actions.
- Prepare and maintain records of controlled substances as per regulations.
4. Clinical Support
- Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure safe medication administration.
- Assist in antibiotic stewardship and other clinical pharmacy initiatives.
- Participate in medication error reporting and prevention programs.
5. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate, updated pharmacy records and reports.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies
- Support audits and quality assurance activities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- D. Pharm / B. Pharm / M. Pharm (Registered with State Pharmacy Council).
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in hospital pharmacy (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, dosages, and drug interactions.
- Good communication and patient-handling skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Work Conditions
- Rotational shifts may be applicable.
- Need to collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and clinical staff.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
