Key Responsibilities1. Prescription Review & Dispensing

  • Review and interpret physician prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Dispense medications with proper labeling and dosage instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with drug safety protocols and legal requirements.

2. Patient Counseling

  • Provide clear instructions regarding medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.
  • Address patient queries and ensure adherence to prescribed therapy.

3. Medication Management

  • Monitor drug availability and maintain inventory levels.
  • Check for expired, damaged, or recalled medications and take appropriate actions.
  • Prepare and maintain records of controlled substances as per regulations.

4. Clinical Support

  • Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure safe medication administration.
  • Assist in antibiotic stewardship and other clinical pharmacy initiatives.
  • Participate in medication error reporting and prevention programs.

5. Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate, updated pharmacy records and reports.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies
  • Support audits and quality assurance activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • D. Pharm / B. Pharm / M. Pharm (Registered with State Pharmacy Council).
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in hospital pharmacy (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, dosages, and drug interactions.
  • Good communication and patient-handling skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Work Conditions

  • Rotational shifts may be applicable.
  • Need to collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and clinical staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
