Maintenance Engineer

Position Summary:

Holiday Inn & Suites/Burger Theory is seeking a full-time Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This position will be responsible for the maintenance of all facilities and equipment in the assigned area. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing and be able to problem-solve in a timely manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment and facilities.
• Performs routine repairs on all equipment and facilities as needed.
• Performs emergency repairs as needed.
• Responsible for equipment troubleshooting and repair where necessary.
• Responsible for preventive maintenance on all equipment.
• Assists in purchasing supplies and maintaining the equipment inventory.
• Assists with keeping records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Assists with maintaining the facility inventory.
• Responsible for public area cleanliness such as tile & grout, windows, patios, etc.
• Responsible for setting up and cleaning up event space for meetings and events

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or plumbing is preferred. Some experience with maintenance in a commercial setting is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance. Must be able to work outdoors as needed and stand for extended periods of time in high temperatures
• Must have valid driver's license and good driving record to drive hotel shuttle

Compensation: We offer competitive compensation packages based on experience and qualifications listed above

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:
