Job Summary
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and ensuring the overall hygiene and appearance of guest rooms and public areas while delivering high standards of service and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned areas according to standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish room supplies
- Dust furniture, vacuum floors, and remove trash
- Clean and disinfect restrooms and high-touch areas
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards
- Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly
- Follow health, hygiene, and safety regulations at all times
- Refill housekeeping trolley with linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies
- Assist with laundry duties as required
- Maintain good communication with supervisors and team members
- Provide courteous assistance to guests when needed
- Ensure lost-and-found items are reported and handled correctly
