Job Description
  • Attend and handle all guest requests received for internal services, as per the hotel standards and procedures.
  • Answer and handle calls and messages, properly using the telephone etiquette and Sofitel standards.
  • Ensure that all guests enjoy their stay by being offered the finest personal service.
  • Respect the privacy of the guests and the confidentiality of the information.
  • Report any guest comment or complaint.
  • Set up inventory and monitor supplies and other commodities upon guest requests.
  • Update the above items' availability in the PMS.
  • Be aware of and follow emergency and security procedures.
  • Fulfill administrative tasks, housekeeping office coordination and filing.
  • Respect key handling procedures.
  • Read and update logbooks.
  • Update guest history in the PMS.
  • Keep all equipment clean, areas tidy and well maintained as per the Housekeeping Operations Manual.
  • Carry out special projects according to given assignments.
  • Attend a daily line up briefing with the Housekeeping team.
  • Coordinate with all departments as per guests and operational needs.
  • Inform concerned division or department heads whenever a matter is delayed or not solved.
  • Be entirely flexible and adapt to rotate within the different sub sections of the Housekeeping Department.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Assistant Housekeeping Manager and the Director of Housekeeping.
Qualifications
  • Saudi National
  • A proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Previous housekeeping experience an asset.
  • Excellent communication in Arabic & English.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail & guest centric.
