- Recruitment and hiring: Posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, assisting with background checks, and preparing offer letters.
- Onboarding and orientation: Coordinating new hire orientations, processing new hire paperwork, and setting up new employee accounts and workstations.
- Record-keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee files and databases, including personal information, employment contracts, and benefits documentation.
- Payroll and benefits: Assisting with payroll processing, tracking attendance and leave, and responding to employee questions about benefits.
- Administrative tasks: Scheduling meetings, managing the HR department's email, and producing reports on HR activities.
- Employee relations: Acting as a point of contact for employees, answering general questions, and assisting with grievances and termination paperwork.
