Job Summary:

The Human Resource Administrative Assistant is responsible for administrative tasks and services that support effective and efficient operations of the Human Resource Department.

Essential Functions:

  • Process daily HR mail
  • Enter employee termination data into ADP
  • Update and maintain employee electronic files
  • Process employment verification requests
  • Enter employee qualifications into Celayix
  • Support and troubleshoot ADP Registration issues with employees
  • Review and approve Driving Abstracts and requests Gas Pins
  • Update or create HR procedures
  • Revise HR forms per HR Manager instructions
  • Perform special projects as assigned by HR Manager
  • Stay up-to-date on trending HR practices and legislation changes
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
  • Act as point of contact for employee’s starting at Medical Facilities to ensure timely onboarding per client requirements
  • Answer frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies and procedures. Refer more complex questions to appropriate senior level HR staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 1 year experience in administrative field. At least 1 year experience in customer service. Outlook, Excel and business writing proficiency.

Education:

HS Diploma/GED Equivalency required. Additional education preferred.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge in the following areas:

  • Proficient with emails, spreadsheets, pdf organization, and word processing programs.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business reports.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
  • Attention to detail and high organization skills

  • Self-motivated and able to identify problems or things that don't make sense and provide solutions.
