Summary
The purpose of the HRBP is to provide strategic human resources services to organization leadership to support achieving operational, quality, compliance and growth objectives. The HRBP provides Human Resources generalist services and support including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, benefits and compensation administration, training and organizational development in accordance with all applicable laws, consistent with the core values and overall strategic objectives of the organization. Additionally, this position will coordinate and facilitate various Human Resources processes and programs and contribute to the development of new/revised human resources policies, programs and processes. This role reports to the Human Resources Manager and has no direct reports but may be a coach/peer mentor to less experienced Human Resources Business Partners. This is a hybrid role in our Lakeland office.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate with management and employees at all levels to ensure consistent administration of company policies, procedures and processes.

Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues

Partner with management to increase focus on performance management to maximize employee contributions and to proactively address performance issues.

Manages FMLA and ACA process.

Collaborate with HR Team to develop and deliver training and development programs.

Participate in location audits.

Partner with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.

Provide coaching to less experienced HR employees within area of responsibility.

Coach and/or provide recommendations to managers related to employee issues (e.g. performance, attendance, behavior, conflict, policy violations).

Work on special projects independently or as part of a cross-functional work team.

Develop strong, trusting relationships at all levels of the organization to build credibility and deliver value added HR services.

Develop and maintain an understanding of the business including internal and external customers, opportunities, challenges and risks, short and long term goals and objectives.

Participate in HR strategic leadership discussions with HR Leadership and other HRBP’s to ensure best practices being developed align with company’s key goals and objectives.

Conducts full cycle recruitment.
Education And Experience
-
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and minimum of 5 years Human Resources Generalist experience.

Additionally, minimum of 4 years of experience addressing and resolving complex employee relations issues.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Demonstrated experience presenting information and delivering training programs to all levels of employees.

Demonstrated experience driving annual benefits enrollment programs.

Excellent and professional written and verbal communications skills.

Proven track record of implementing full recruiting life-cycle strategies to attract and hire professional, managerial and technical positions on various levels.

Experience in developing creative recruitment solutions utilizing online job boards, job fairs, advertising, college recruitment, social media, career networks and referral programs.

SHRM or PHR certification a plus.
Work Environment / Physical Demands
This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment including operation of standard computer and phone equipment. May have occasional high stress when dealing with customers/clients. Some travel may be required.
