We are hiring an HR Compliance & Recruitment Manager to oversee HR operations, employee relations, and healthcare recruitment for a fast-growing ABA organization in Brooklyn, NY. The manager will lead compliance, strengthen HR structure, manage a high-volume recruitment function, and ensure the company meets all federal, state, and healthcare regulatory standards. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in HR compliance, healthcare HR, and ABA or healthcare recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Employee Relations

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and healthcare regulations.
  • Maintain policies, handbooks, notices, and audit documentation.
  • Lead investigations, corrective actions, and employee-relations cases.
  • Identify when issues require counsel and coordinate appropriately.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and proactively advise leadership.

Recruitment Leadership

  • Lead and manage a fast-paced healthcare recruitment team.
  • Set expectations, mentor recruiters, and ensure accountability.
  • Build talent pipelines and improve workflows for high-volume hiring.
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning and staffing priorities.

HR Operations

  • Oversee onboarding/offboarding, I-9 compliance, and personnel files.
  • Implement SOPs and improve HR processes and documentation.
  • Support supervisors with employee-relations guidance and documentation.
  • Maintain HRIS accuracy and digital compliance systems.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of HR experience with compliance + employee relations.
  • Background in healthcare recruitment (ABA, home care, SNF, etc.).
  • Experience supervising HR or recruitment staff.
  • Ability to assess legal risk and escalate when needed.
  • Knowledge of leave laws, benefits, classification, and HR best practices.
  • Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and digital HR tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in ABA or behavioral health environments.
  • Experience creating SOPs and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong capability in building HR structure in a growing company.

Work Arrangement

  • Onsite in Brooklyn, NY
  • Full-time schedule

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
