Position Summary:

The Human Resource Coordinator (HRC) is a flexible team player who provides onsite administrative support to the HR Team. The HRC will perform various clerical assignments as related to HR, to include tasks such as maintaining employment records, processing multistate payrolls and personal employee changes within the HRIS.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Prepare and distribute company communications virtually and in office.

· Assist with benefits administration & new hire orientation as needed.

· Scan and e-file employee personnel and medical records.

· Provide clerical support to the HR Department as needed and maintain strict confidentiality.

· Organize and lead company-sponsored activities and events as directed.

· Process multistate payroll by collecting, validating, and processing employee data, which includes tasks such as data entry, processing new hire paperwork, and making changes to benefits and tax withholdings.

· Ensure employees are paid accurately and on time by managing time sheets, resolving discrepancies, and answering payroll-related questions.

· Assist with reporting on employment, training, wages, salaries, etc.

· Perform miscellaneous daily tasks within the building.

· Assist with accounts payable as needed.

· Assist with job requisitions and job postings as needed.

· Perform other duties/assignments as assigned.

Educational Requirements / Experience / Skills:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Familiarity with UKG preferred

· At least one year’s experience with multi-state payrolls preferred

· Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with payroll software and spreadsheets required

· Self-motivated with above-average communication skills

· Must be computer savvy, proficient in Microsoft Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint & Outlook

· Able to handle extremely sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality

· Must be customer service oriented, possess professional demeanor, positive attitude and problem-solving skills.

· Capable of staying on task with minimal supervision.
