Position Summary:
The HR cum Placement Officer will oversee the recruitment and placement process within the organization, ensuring seamless human resources management while developing and maintaining effective employer relationships for candidate placement. This role bridges HR functions with career placement services to align talent acquisition with organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:HR Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Selection:
  • Identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Source candidates through job portals, social media, and employee referrals.
  • Conduct interviews, assessments, and selection processes.
  • Onboarding and Orientation:
  • Facilitate onboarding processes and ensure new hires are well-integrated into the organization.
  • Conduct orientation programs and explain company policies and procedures.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts.
  • Promote a positive workplace environment and ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Performance Management:
  • Assist in appraisals and provide feedback mechanisms.
  • Coordinate training programs for employee development.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
  • Maintain employee records and ensure legal compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Placement Responsibilities:

  • Industry Outreach:
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners and recruiters.
  • Identify job opportunities and create a database of potential employers.
  • Student/Employee Placement:
  • Assist candidates with resume preparation, interview skills, and job applications.
  • Match candidate profiles with job openings to ensure appropriate placement.
  • Placement Events:
  • Organize job fairs, recruitment drives, and networking sessions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate placement activities.
  • Data Management:
  • Maintain records of placements and track candidate progress in their roles.
  • Generate reports on placement metrics and success rates.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years in HR, recruitment, or placement roles.
  • Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in recruitment tools and HR management software.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of employment trends and labor laws.
