Job Summary:
The HR Executive is responsible for handling day-to-day HR activities in the textile mill including recruitment, attendance monitoring, employee welfare, statutory compliance, and coordination with production departments.
Key Responsibilities:1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Identify manpower requirements in OE, Ring, Blowroom, Winding, Packing, Quality, Maintenance etc.
- Prepare job postings and screen resumes.
- Conduct initial HR interviews and coordinate with department heads.
- Complete joining formalities, collect documents, and arrange induction.
2. Attendance & Payroll Support
- Monitor daily attendance, shift allocation, and leave records.
- Track overtime, late-in/early-out, and absenteeism.
- Share attendance data with payroll team on time.
- Manage biometric issues and resolve attendance discrepancies.
3. Statutory Compliance
- Assist in PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity documentation.
- Maintain statutory registers and ensure monthly compliance.
- Handle labour inspections and coordinate with consultants.
4. Employee Relations & Welfare
- Address grievances of operators, supervisors, and staff.
- Conduct welfare activities—PPE distribution, canteen, transport, hostel.
- Manage disciplinary procedures as per HR policies.
- Ensure smooth communication between management & workers.
5. Training & Development
- Identify skill gaps and arrange training for operators/trainees.
- Maintain training records and track performance improvement.
6. HR Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare HR reports: manpower, attrition, absenteeism, joining/exits.
- Maintain personal files and update employee database.
- Draft memos, notices, warning letters, and other HR communications.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (HR/Management preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in textile mill HR (preferred).
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of labour laws, factory act, and statutory compliances.
- Ability to work with production teams and handle workforce effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office & HR software (biometric, payroll tools).
