Role Objective
The HR Generalist will build the HR department from zero and establish all HR operations including recruitment, compliance, payroll coordination, employee relations, and HR systems. This is a hands-on role for a candidate experienced in UAE labor requirements and manpower-heavy environments.
Key Responsibilities
A. Recruitment (Blue Collar & White Collar)
· Manage full-cycle recruitment for technical, administrative, and site staff
· Prepare job descriptions and manage job portals
· Screen, interview, and shortlist candidates
· Prepare offer letters and employment contracts
· Coordinate trade tests, skill verification, and background checks
· Oversee mobilization & demobilization of workers
· Manage visa, medical, EID, and work permit processing with PRO
· Maintain manpower planning and forecasting
B. HR Documentation & File Management
· Create and maintain complete employee files (physical + digital)
· Track expiry dates: visa, EID, passport, insurance
· Maintain attendance, leave records, timesheets
· Develop HR forms and templates (leave forms, warnings, OT sheets)
C. HR Systems & Reporting
· Build HR dashboards (attendance, overtime, headcount, turnover)
· Prepare monthly HR reports for management
· Structure HR logs, trackers, and digital records
· Implement and maintain employee database / HR control system
D. Compliance & UAE Labor Law
· Ensure full compliance with UAE Labour Law and MOHRE guidelines
· Update company policies based on latest regulations
· Handle WPS, employment contracts, and official documentation
· Manage legal onboarding & offboarding
· Execute disciplinary procedures professionally and legally
E. Performance & Employee Relations
· Implement performance monitoring tools
· Maintain grievance and disciplinary records
· Conduct exit interviews and prepare reports
· Support implementation of company culture and internal policies
F. Payroll Coordination
· Coordinate with Accounts department for:
· Ensure accuracy before submitting payroll for WPS processing
G. Training & General HR Support
· Identify training needs and coordinate trainings
· Maintain code of conduct and HSE compliance documentation
· Support day-to-day HR and administrative operations
Reporting Line
· Reports directly to the Managing Director
· Works closely with Office Manager for daily coordination
Qualifications
· 4 years of UAE HR experience (mandatory)
· Experience with blue-collar recruitment (preferred)
· Strong knowledge of MOHRE, WPS, and visa processes
· Experience setting up HR systems from scratch (preferred)
· Excellent organization, communication, and documentation skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
