Dakia.ai is a fast-growing AI startup incubated at NIC Islamabad with a growing footprint in the U.S. SMB market. We’re building an AI-driven communication and marketing automation platform that helps businesses unify calls, SMS, WhatsApp, and email — and use AI to automate sales, support, and insights.

This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work directly with the founding team of a U.S.-focused AI startup and gain practical experience in building and scaling a global SaaS product.

What You’ll Learn

• How recruitment works in fast-paced startups and international markets.
• Managing the end-to-end hiring process — from posting jobs to screening, scheduling, and interviews.
• Using LinkedIn, Indeed, and other platforms for sourcing top candidates.
• Building candidate pipelines for technical, marketing, and business roles.
• Conducting initial HR interviews and assisting with onboarding.
• Supporting employee engagement, performance tracking, and HR documentation.
• Creating and maintaining recruitment reports and databases.
• Best practices in HR communication, coordination, and compliance.

Who We’re Looking For

• Students or recent graduates in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields.
• Passion for recruitment, people management, and startup culture.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Available for a 3-month onsite internship at NIC Islamabad.
